About Me

I am a registered dietitian who graduated from the University of Idaho with BS in Food and Nutrition in 1998.  I spent the the first 10 years of my career working with children with special healthcare needs, nutrition support and obesity. Since 2015, I have been in private practice focusing on gut health and all the downstream issues when digestion goes awry. Nutrition is individual based on the health and function of your gut. There is no perfect diet for everyone but there is an art to finding the right combination of foods to make each person feel their best.

Throughout my career, I have always wanted to take on the challenging cases.  Tackling Autoimmune diseases and metabolic illnesses are currently some of my favorites. Over the last 10 years, I have become an avid runner and triathlete and have spent increasingly more time working with weekend warriors and fitness enthusiasts who want to fuel better for their sport.

My focus is on eating real food.  I believe that processed, hybridized and genetically modified foods are ruining our health.  I want to see people get back to the natural, whole foods that our grandparents and great grandparents ate.  They did not suffer from autoimmunity, allergies or the metabolic illnesses that we deal with today.

I believe that it is time to fight for our health!
